Mark Andrew Larinto
"It will all be destroyed...I'm just letting you know." -- Mark Andrew Larinto, CEO of Scenic Expressions, Inc.
Tyler Larinto: Heir apparent
The Scenic Companies are a collection of Hollywood-focused scenic design, construction, transport, storage, and rental companies with headquarters in Los Angeles, operations across the LA metro area, and additional operations in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area. Scenic Expressions, Inc. is located at 4000 Chevy Chase Drive, Los Angeles, California, 90039 and 8238 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91605. The businesses are owned by the Larinto family, brothers Mark and Robert, of Santa Clarita and Pasadena, as principals. Mark's son, Tyler, also of Santa Clarita, is a Junior Operations Manager.
This website is maintained by concerned members of the local Los Angeles community who have experienced illegal, destructive, and tortious treatment at the hands of and for the sole benefit of the owners and agents of Scenic Expressions, Inc. Here you will find the stories and testimonials of community members who have suffered. You will also find links to share your own experiences in addition to videos of Scenic Expression's conduct, current developments and pending litigation. Additionally, we have included some light-hearted parody content, created by just a few of the survivors, in an attempt to bring some levity to the travesties perpetrated by Scenic Expressions, Inc.
Feel free to click around the site pages, or start here to follow the experience of one family and community icon who lost nearly everything to Scenic's selfish, get-to-the-top-no-matter-what raison-d'etre. This particular family was a tenant of a shared property Scenic Expressions, Inc. used for warehousing Hollywood sets. The family was a charitable pillar of the community, restoring the property to health, bringing clean electric power, and collecting and distributing clothing and nutritious food throughout the neighborhood. These Families were also environmental stewards of a clean earth, improving the land and soil by planting and nurturing the eroded land where before only dust clouds dared to dance.
These survivors rescued thousands of pounds of materials that Scenic Expressions, Inc. sought to send to the landfill and repurposed the materials to create and help others to build transportation, housing, and art for the community.
If like so many others, you too have been ABUSED, DECEIVED, HARASSED, INJURED, CONNED or STOLEN FROM by SCENIC EXPRESSIONS, INC. or any employees or agents of The Scenic Companies, including Junior Operations Manager Tyler Larinto or Co-Owner Mark Andrew Larinto, you've come to the right place for help. You are not alone.
Drop us a note to let us know what they did to you. We'll get back to you right away with more info and resources. In the meantime, check out our info on current litigation and how to protect yourself.

We had an absolutely dreadful experience with these guys. Tyler Larinto, the operations manager at Scenic was deceptive, petty, and ultimately not deserving of our engagement. If you have the option to work with ANYBODY ELSE, stay far away from Tyler and his posse. We dealt with Scenic Expressions over the course of 9 months and consistently watched them be abusive, destructive, and arrogant. Mark Larinto and Gregory Doi were particularly terrible. The Worst. Absolutely miserable experience for set storage and transportation. Unreliable, rude, overpriced and rarely on time. If we knew then what we know now, we would never have engaged their services. If you have any other option for set rental, construction, design, transportation or storage in LA or anywhere else, then don't use this outfit. Be careful.

Doi, Jr., who does lighting, electrical grip work, and production, including on the recent movie Waikiki, vandalized our property, graffitied our equipment, and stole our mail. Really scary guy. Stay away. More reviews at https://.www.scenicexpression.com
The worst industry transport experience we've had.
If I could give zero stars I would. For Los Angeles Set Storage and Transportation, these guys were terrible. Constantly overpromised and underdelivered. They were so inept, we were wondering if it was a joke. Like it was an episode of being Punked. They were way more expensive than the competition, yet they were rude, untimely, unprofessional and unreliable. If you have any other option for set storage, set design or construction, grip labor, or Los Angeles storage, take it. These guys are a mess.
Scenic Expressions dropped the ball big time. We needed transportation of 2 lowboys worth of equipment. They assured us they could handle it no problem. Boy did it turn into a problem. It felt like we were there first customer. They were not timely, didn't have the proper equipment of their own. Their motivation and professionalism were way below industry standard. Honestly, we have no idea how they are in business after our experience. We will certainly not be using them again.
Our exceedingly disappointing experience with Scenic left us scrambling to recover. Their wholesale mismanagement of a basic transport job was additionally distressing because they had come recommended, so we were not as vigilant as we wish we had been in hindsight. The Scenic management consistently miscommunicated their plans, misunderstood our needs, and were unprofessional overall. There are many better options in LA for set transport and storage. We will certainly be steering far clear of Scenic in the future.
We needed a transport company that was timely and professional. We found neither with this crew. The owners of Centerline Scenery was personally invested in our project and they still fumbled the whole job. Their facilities and equipment are old and in disrepair, too. There are many better options out there.
